Returns

The Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation online shop wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you can return the selected items and receive a full refund for the product price.

Returns on purchases delivered within Spain are always free of charge. The Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation will cover shipping fees for the return of these items.

For those orders delivered to other countries, the customer will be responsible for the direct cost of the product’s return.

Unfortunately, exchanges are not possible.

Should a product have a manufacturing defect, it will be replaced without any additional cost to you. If said replacement is not possible, you will be refunded the full amount that you paid for the order, including shipping costs. The Foundation’s online shop respond to any lack of conformity that arises within a period of two years from delivery. You may communicate to us any lack of conformity within a period of two months.

Before sending us the item that you would like to return, please notify us of the return at the following email address: tiendaweb@museothyssen.org , and you will receive all of the necessary information to proceed with your return.

Please verify that it meets all of the return requirements, and the total cost of the product will be refunded using the original method of payment.

Once the return request has been verified and adherence to the terms and conditions for returns has been confirmed, we will activate the return process and the item cost will be refunded to you as soon as possible. The corresponding monetary return will be carried out on the same card with which you made your purchase. Once the Foundation has given the return order, the monetary return will be the exclusive responsibility of your bank.

Additionally, should the return not comply with all of the return requirements mentioned below, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation online shop will be unable to process the refund. Should this happen, the Foundation’s decision will be communicated to you via email and the rejected articles will be made available to you for a period of 2 months. During this period, the customer will be able to collect these articles in the Museum shop (Paseo del Prado, 8 Madrid - 28014) or ask for them to be sent via post. All related shipping costs must be pre-paid by the customer.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation reserves the right to reject all returns requested or sent past the return period limits, and cannot make refunds on articles that are not in their original condition.

Return Requirements

The maximum time limit for the return of one or more items from the same order is 15 days from your order’s delivery date.

Items to be returned must be in perfect condition and have the original packaging and corresponding receipts which accompanied the order.

The customer’s right to a refund does not apply to the following items: audio or video recordings; CDs, electronic or computer related programs whose packaging has been opened by the client; made-to-order or clearly personalized goods; items whose characteristics make them impossible to return; or goods which may soon deteriorate or spoil.
