Vases designed and produced by Manuel Vargas exclusively for the Thyssen Bornemisza National Museum, inspired by the work Still Life (Giorgio Morandi, 1948-1949)
These vases are hand-turned, painted and waxed.
The wood used is California Pine or Insigne Pine.
The paint used are natural pigments made from milk protein (casein) from the realmilkpaint brand and the varnish is a natural sealing wax made from walnut oil and carnauba wax.
Vases with a square base and in color red have a height of 23'5cm. East model includes a cap made of the same piece than the vase. In the widest part It is 9'5cm on a side.
