Cerabella

Cerabella began in the late 19th century when a woman from Pallars left her small village to venture into the city.

History

Francesca Abella set up a small candle workshop in Placa del Pedró in Barcelona's Raval district, at a time when sunlight was used to bleach wax and candles illuminated dark nights.
The story that still defines Cerabella's essence began in the 1960s: a commitment to quality and research to transform candle making, an ancient lighting method, into a constant creation of shapes, scents, colors, and uses.
Between the small workshop in the old town and the current factory, 160 years of pursuit have passed, allowing this unique, essentially manual and unhurried craft to endure, challenging the whirlwind of time like a flame.
