Gloves designed and produced exclusively by Diana Martinez for the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza. Inspired by the work Portrait of a Woman (Lucas Cranach the Younger, 1539)
Materials: 100% Italian Merino wool, angora, 100% baby Mohair from Valeria and cowhide leather strap.
All materials are hand-knitted and sewn to interpret in tricot with voluminous studs, the way of painting the slashing of the time and the lace cuffs by Lucas Cranach the Younger.
Blue Ubrique cowhide leather strap in reference to the background.
The hand-knitted volumetric studs are an original invention of the designer to create this effect.
