The exhibition Renoir: intimacy is a retrospective exhibition dedicated to Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919). Through 78 autographed works produced over six decades of work, we will be able to enjoy and learn about his evolution; from his pre-impressionist period to his final paintings of strong modelling and influenced by the classical tradition.
This monograph is divided into eight rooms and six thematic blocks: Impressionism, Portraits, Landscapes, Family and Domestic Scenes, and Bathers. In all of them, Renoir, known as the painter of the joy of living, is characterized by creating pleasant scenes sometimes charged with strong sensuality.
