Woman I, Woman II and Woman III, are three pieces inspired by the work “Simultaneous Dresses” (1925) by Sonia Delaunay. In this painting, the Ukrainian artist living in Paris, one of the great representatives of abstract art and the avant-garde of the twentieth century, expresses another of her facets: that of fashion designer. Specifically, one of the three dresses that appear in the painting was designed for the Hollywood star Gloria Swanson.
The three pieces become functional porcelain objects: bottles with their respective little glasses that, at the same time, preserve the shape of the dresses that inspired them and the cubist and avant-garde spirit that animates the original work. Intense colors and pure, geometric shapes complete the appeal of creations in which the most artisanal porcelain goes hand in hand with the most innovative art.
PLEASE NOTE: some of the pictures show the 3 sets, Woman I, Woman II and Woman III of the collection but when buying Woman III you are only buying the set of 1 bottle and a glass corresponding to Woman III (set in black and white tones).
